Here's everything you need to know...




Q. So what is The Fitness & Weightloss Playground?
A.  It is for men and women looking to lose weight, tone up and get fitter! We operate in Chichester and you can come along once or twice a week.

If the gym bores you, bootcamps scare you and you need results fast then The Playground is for you. 

Q. Am I fit enough?
A. Of course you are. Every session is planned to suit all levels of fitness. Even if you’ve not lifted a finger for years or you’re just getting back to exercising, it WILL suit you. The training is designed to be enjoyable it will be push you as it focuses on an all body workout, but you’ll never be made to feel you are slower or weaker and you won’t be left behind on the naughty step.  

You work at your own pace and push yourself as much as you can. Remember not to compare yourself to other people, this is about YOU!

Q. Who else will be there?
A. We have both men and women who range in age from 20 something up to 60 something.  Our typical classmate is a professional in their 30’s but all are welcome – we have discovered that age is no indication of fitness!


Q. What should I wear?
A. Wear something you are comfortable in – it doesn't need to be the latest designer label or Lycra!  Pair of shorts, a tracksuit or leggings and a T-shirt or sweatshirt is perfect. 

Be prepared to get a bit dirty as we’ll be doing all sorts of things on the grass!  If it is wet, wear something waterproof and if it’s cold then bring an extra layer or two.

Q. Can I swear and moan?
A. Yes you can swear, bitch, whinge and moan as much as you want... in fact that is the only reason some people come along!!  But you must agree to have fun and excuses are not allowed!


Q. Is exercise really fun?
A. Yes, it is!  Remember when we were kids we ran around, played games, stayed active and were fit and healthy and had fun doing it? Then, at some point, exercise stopped being fun and we all ended up stuck doing dull, boring repetitive workouts… zzzzzzzz…

it’s time to get back to how we used to exercise. Our varied sessions will challenge you and make you laugh so you don’t feel like you’re enjoying a rigorous workout (… until you feel the soreness the next day!). For example, one week you might be jumping like a frog and stalking like a lion, the next you’ll be rolling a big dice to deciding what workout you do and the week you might be bouncing on a Spacehopper.

Q. How much does it cost to have fun at The Playground?
A. Discover just why The Playground is so different from any other bootcamp or group session you’ve been to with your first session free. Simply come and join the fun, and you can even bring a friend.

After that, we have a choice of fun packages so you can choose the one that best suits you.  Click here to see the options.


Q. Do I have to sign up for ever like a gym?
A. No. We won’t handcuff you into a long-term contract or chase you up with nasty legal letters if you decide to quit. There’s absolutely no commitment. Membership is on a month by month basis, so you can come for as long as you want and leave when you like.

Q. Where and when do you operate?
A. We operate on Tuesdays & Thursdays evenings (6.30 – 7.15pm) at Chichester College.

Q. Who runs it?
A. The sessions are taken by either Rich, Dave or Debz.

Q: How big is the class?
A: Class sizes are limited to just 20 people. This ensures everyone gets a decent workout and we can see what you are up to! It also allows us to make sure everyone is having fun and getting fit.
