If you are like me you will have made all sorts of excuses not to exercise – I can’t afford it, I haven’t got the right kit, it’s too cold, it’s too hot, my friend is away, I’ll start next week, next month..whenever…whatever….

The one that I really don’t get though is I haven’t got time!  Yes you have and if your life doesn’t allow it at the moment then make time!

I’ve just read a really great article in Time magazine by a successful entrepreneur who says he prioritises exercise over clients and encourages his employees to do the same!

“I do this because I and my business can survive the consequences of rescheduling a client meeting, even if it means losing that client. But as soon as I start pushing workouts off, I’ll start missing workouts, and once I start missing workouts, I’m close to stopping workouts altogether.  Exercise must come first, or it’s unlikely to happen at all.

If exercise stops, then my health goes downhill. With the loss of physical health my productivity at work goes down…..

Now you may not be an entrepreneur, you may have a job or a family that seemingly takes up all of your time.

It’s well known that exercise has many health benefits – I don’t need to list them all here and you don’t need to do hour long workouts or long runs to get fitter than you are now.

So are you are prepared to find time in your life now for even 15 minutes in a day and if you can’t find that then you need to take serious look at where your life is going! 

Or are you going to find the time when you get ill, have a heart attack or other serious illness and have to take days, weeks, months out and away from your family, your job or business?

Bit of a serious one today but I do believe it is important and if you are making time then fantastic keep up the good work!
